UK Golding Whole Leaf Hops 100g

Golding is one of the classic English hop varieties, with a brewing history stretching back generations. Our 2025 harvest UK Golding whole leaf hops bring the traditional earthy, herbal and lightly spicy character associated with English ales, making them a natural choice for bitters, pale ales, porters and stouts.

UK Golding is related to the better-known East Kent Goldings, but isn't the same hop. Goldings is a broader group of closely related English varieties, with East Kent Goldings referring specifically to Goldings grown in East Kent. In the finished beer, UK Golding brings a soft, earthy and herbal character with gentle spice, making it particularly useful when you want traditional English hop flavour without pushing too far into the more distinctive character of a specific regional Golding.

Golding works particularly well with other traditional British hops. Pair it with Fuggle for a classic English combination, or use it alongside Challenger to add a softer, herbal dimension to a traditional bitter or pale ale.
