Progress hops are a classic English aroma hop, developed at Wye College as a wilt-resistant, versatile replacement for Fuggle, offering sweet, grassy, minty, and floral notes with a soft bitterness, suitable for English ales, bitters, and Pale Ales, often used late in the boil or for dry hopping.
