Magnesium Sulphate (Epsom Salt)
Magnesium Sulphate Heptahydrate (Epsom) is a salt used to increase the mineral content of brewing liquor to improve its brewing quality and produce the desired beer characteristics salts for water treatment. Provides dry bitter character to beer.
It lowers the wort pH and should be added to the grist before mashing.
