Crop 2024. First Gold is a terrifically versatile aroma hop, perfect for more modern beer styles. It is a unique Goldings type hop and is also available as a fully certified organic hop variety. Much of the flavour has been retained but with an added extra citrus quality, produces a well-balanced bitterness and a fruity, slightly spicy note in ales.
An zesty orange quality has been observed in many beers brewed using this variety. Orange, marmalade, spice.
