Unlike the broader Golding group, East Kent Goldings refers specifically to Goldings grown in the traditional East Kent growing region. It is prized for its refined, aromatic character, bringing a soft floral and slightly sweet quality to the finished beer alongside gentle earthy and spicy notes.

East Kent Goldings works particularly well with other traditional British hops. Pair it with Fuggle for a classic English combination, or use it alongside Challenger to add a softer floral character to a traditional bitter or pale ale.
