Columbus (CTZ) T90 US Hop Pellets

Columbus (CTZ) T90 US Hop Pellets

Columbus, commonly grouped with Tomahawk and Zeus under the name CTZ, is a powerful American dual-purpose hop known for its high alpha acid content and bold, resinous character.

Expect pungent notes of citrus, black pepper, earth and pine, with a distinctive dank, herbal edge. Columbus is a favourite for American pale ales, West Coast IPAs, imperial stouts and other hop-forward beers.

Its high alpha acid content makes it an efficient bittering hop, while late boil additions, whirlpool hopping and dry hopping bring out its intense citrus and resinous aroma.

Columbus also features in our Ee-by-Eck Oil all-grain recipe kit, our tribute to Beavertown's popular Neck Oil. This refreshing, hop-forward session IPA combines American hop character with an easy-drinking finish.

A great way to explore what Columbus can bring to a modern pale ale.
