A classic British ale at a sessionable strength of 4.1% A fantastically balanced beer that is flavoursome and at the same time refreshing.

This beer offers a great balance between our fantastic malts and hops. 

Bittered with Challenger and later additions of the ever dependable East Kent Goldings.

Batch size: 23L

Original gravity: 1.041

Final Gravity: 1.010

ABV: 4.1%

Mash time: 60 minutes, 66℃

Mash out: 10 minutes, 75℃

Fermentables

  • Crisp Finest Maris Otter Ale Malt
  • Crisp Torrefied Wheat
  • Crisp Medium Crystal 240
  • Crisp Cara Malt

Boil: 60 minutes

Kettle additions

  • Challenger 60 minutes
  • East Kent Goldings 10 minutes
  • East Kent Goldings Whirlpool/hopstand for 10 minues
  • Protofloc 15 minutes

Yeast

  • S-04

Fermentaion

20℃ for 14 days or until fermentation is comp
